Embroidered Incidents by Rachael Robins



These small, framed embroideries tell interesting stories.  Rachael taught herself how to embroider from an old library book.  She 'cobbles together' images from coloring books and other sources to create her pieces.  Rachael is involved with LifeSPAN through Anna's network.

Deborah, who is a friend of LifeSPAN and a network member, is also a well known and highly respected artist who has been working in Seattle for 30 years.  Here she's had some fun creating these wonderful lamp shades for us.

Taurini Designs was started by sisters Kristy and Stacey Yawman in 2007.  Kristy is a talented artist with an eye for detail and color.  She draws using makers and Stacy then scans her drawings, adds backgrounds and puts the images on greeting cards, journals, notepads and clothing.  Kristy will have a table dedicated to her products at the COH event. Come meet the artist!

HeART Quilt by Diane Ficzko


Diane is a life-long fine needle-work crafter. She's supplied her friends and relatives with beautiful samplers, ornaments, clothing and quilts over the years. Diane's frayed hearts quilt (30" x 30") was made especially for our Celebration of HeARTS auction. It makes a great baby shower gift or a wall hanging for your own home.

Wrestlers, by Fiona McGuigan


Fiona has been working on a terrific series based on images of Swiss wrestlers for a couple of years now.  We are so pleased that she has given us this small but powerful acrylic painting from her recent work.

Leslee loves to make art.  She works with various printmaking and collage techniques to create imagery that always surprises.  She has been a LifeSPAN facilitator for five years and has worked with two of our networks.

This wonderful oil painting was donated by a friend of LifeSPAN.  The artist is well known in Seattle for painting incidental landscapes, dumpsters, flowers, and other subjects with a eye for the beauty of the specific.

LifeSPAN Board Member John Currie has been enjoying a rekindled interest in photography since his retirement.  These two small, small framed images evoke very different moods from a location dear to our region.
